Robust aluminum doors with white lacquered frames, flexible transparent flap with a magnet for a tight fit.
The door allows the dog free passage at any time of the day, for example if we are away, or if we just don't want to keep opening the door to the garden for the dog, he can go for a run or go outside at any time. If we don't want him to go out on his own, for example in bad weather, just insert the solid plate and the door will stay closed.
Installation options.
We can install aluminum doors in doors made of solid and glued wood, in brick walls, PVC and metal or glass (we recommend contacting an expert when installing in glass). However, the minimum depth of the door or wall must be at least 2.5 cm.
Door assembly instructions.
We measure the distance of the chest or belly from the ground.
We attach the template to the height (x) and drill holes for inserting the saw.
Cut out the mounting hole with a hacksaw.
We clean the edges and burrs of the cut.
After marking through the frame, we drill 4.5 mm holes for the door screws.
We screw the frames together with metric screws and nuts.
Locking the door with a plate
If necessary (night, weekend, holiday), the door can be locked (impassable) by inserting a removable opaque aluminum plate with a fuse. We only start using the blocking plate when our pet has learned to go through the door and we are nearby when it is locked for the first time, so that we can properly explain the closed door day to our dog or cat.
